Cinnamon Soft Pretzel Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 packet yeast
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 cups Daisy flour
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup maple sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Heat milk in the microwave for one minute. Stir in the yeast and let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Stir in the honey, 2 Tbsp butter, and salt.
  3. Slowly add the flour until the dough is thick and no longer sticky. Knead dough for 10 minutes.
  4. Cover with a damp cloth and place in a warm spot to rise for an hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 425.
  6. Divide dough in sections and roll into thin ropes. Cut the dough in 1 1/2"-2" pieces.
  7. Bring the water and baking soda to a boil. Dip the pretzel pieces in the water and place on a greased or parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake 12-15 minutes.
  9. Stir together the maple sugar and cinnamon.
  10. Dip the pretzel bites in the 1/4 cup of melted butter then coat them with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
