Misfits Market Review
Updated May 2025
Misfits Market lets you completely customize your grocery delivery with a $35 minimum order amount. You can choose from fresh fruit and veggies, pantry items, juice, milk, bread, and even dog treats! The produce may be less than perfect or overstock from farms that would otherwise go to waste. Misfits Market benefits farmers and that’s all it took to have me sold on the idea. If you prefer organic produce, you’re in luck! The produce from Misfits Market is sourced from organic farms. If you don’t care about conventional or organic, like me, it’s still a great price. Now, on to the goods!
When I first shopped with Misfits Market, they offered a Mischief Box that served 1-2 people. I placed my order on a Wednesday with a delivery day of Friday. Shipping was fast and the box arrived in perfect condition.
In my first box, I received oranges, a grapefruit, half a dozen limes, celery, two cucumbers, green beans, two giant beets, two sweet potatoes, a butternut squash, and Anaheim peppers.

Most vegetables can be blanched and frozen so they don’t go bad before you use them. I (I mean, my dad) chopped up the squash into cubes and froze them to make biscuits at a later date.
The first thing I made was lime bars. They got very good reviews from my dad. We steamed the green beans to serve with dinner. I gave the peppers to my sister. The oranges were great for snacking and very sweet! The grapefruit was also sweet and delicious broiled with honey and cinnamon. I also picked up some mint leaves from the grocery store and made a cucumber, lime, and mint sorbet. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality and quantity of the produce I received.

With my gastroparesis diagnosis, it is so nice to choose exactly what goes into my box so I know I will be able to enjoy everything in it without worry of wasting something that I can’t eat.
May 2025 Update
You don’t have to stick to a weekly or biweekly schedule anymore. All you have to do is order in your upcoming box delivery window any time! You can simply skip an order by not adding anything to your box.
Pricing on their Odds & Ends brand is often better than grocery store prices. In the area I live in, there are some products available at the local grocery store a bit cheaper than Misfits Market offers, but the discounts they offer make up for it. The variety of offerings also include produce and snacks that you might not be able to find at local grocery stores.
My most recent delivery included oat milk, kiwis, cotton candy grapes, carrots, and half and half lemonade.
There is also a Misfits+ Membership which costs $69 per year. The benefits include discounts and weekly deals.
Misfits Market delivers to all the lower 48 states! View more info on the locations here.
