Baked Goat Cheese Balls with Honey and Lavender

Ingredients

  • 10 oz goat cheese
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 Tbsp lavender
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned panko bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the goat cheese, honey, and lavender until smooth.
  2. Take another small bowl and whisk together the eggs.
  3. In another small bowl, add the bread crumbs.
  4. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper and coat with cooking spray.
  5. Form the goat cheese mixture into small balls.
  6. Dredge each ball in the eggs and then coat with the bread crumbs.
  7. Set on the baking sheet and repeat until the goat cheese mixture is gone.
  8. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 475.
  10. Take the goat cheese balls directly from the freezer and bake for 8 minutes.
  11. Serve warm.
