Chocolate Strawberry Oatmeal

There is just something about freshly grown strawberries that just hits the spot so much better than store bought. Store bought strawberries may be bigger, but the flavor is not always there. I highly recommend visiting a local farmers market or orchard to buy fresh strawberries or even growing your own!

Cocoa PowderAnd what better to go with a sweet, juicy strawberry than chocolate? Did you know that you can eat clean and still have your chocolate fix, too? 100% cocoa powder is 100% clean! I am partial to Hersheys since I have grown up on it.

I found this recipe and was immediately inspired to create a chocolate strawberry oatmeal. The deep flavor of the cocoa powder blends perfectly with the sweetness of the strawberries. It almost tastes like you areindulging ina chocolate covered strawberry except its healthy! Feel free to add as many strawberries as you like and adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
